Composite Doors Yorkshire partner with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice to celebrate 21 years

Composite Doors Yorkshire are celebrating 21 years of supplying high quality windows and doors to homes and businesses across Yorkshire. And to mark the occasion, they have teamed up with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice

Composite Doors Yorkshire and Jess Lees of Forget Me Not

Based at Lockwood Scar in Huddersfield, Composite Doors Yorkshire specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke PVCu windows & doors, bi-fold doors and composite doors.

The team at Composite Doors Yorkshire have long been supporters of local charities, having previously worked with the Laura Crane Trust and Kirkwood Hospice. So to mark their 21st year, and to say thank you to the local community, Composite Doors Yorkshire have pledged to donate a portion of their sales throughout 2019 to Huddersfield children’s hospice Forget Me Not.

Forget Me Not will receive a £5 donation for every single composite door sold to a residential customer this year. In addition to this, as Composite Doors Yorkshire happen to sell a composite door in the same colour as the Forget Me Not logo - purple - they will also donate an extra £25 for each purple composite door they sell in 2019.

Jess Lees, Regional Fundraiser commented on Composite Doors Yorkshire fundraising initiative:

“Forget Me Not are excited to be working with Composite Doors Yorkshire. As a local charity, we relish the opportunity to work with local businesses. Composite Doors Yorkshire are a vibrant and enthusiastic company who are concerned with giving back to their local community.

“Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice are dedicated to helping local children and families with life shortening conditions. We need £4 million a year to open the doors, and we get 2% from the Government. So the support we get from local businesses and communities is vital.”

Customer service and quality has always been at the very centre of everything Composite Doors Yorkshire do - which is why Managing Director Richard Pogson likes to meet each customer, measure up and prepare quotes himself.

They are also keen to ensure that the quality of the products they supply and install are second to none, and Richard and his team believe that the composite doors from Solidor they manufacture on site in Huddersfield are the most secure and hard-wearing doors available.

But when they first started out in 1998 PVCu doors were the best on the market so that’s what omposite Doors Yorkshire advocated, and one of their first customers had the same PVCu door for 21 years until they upgraded to a composite door recently. Demonstrating that investing in quality does pay dividends in the long run.
