Are These The Smallest Composite Stable Doors Ever Made?

With onsite manufacturing capabilities and extensive experience with composite doors, Yorkshire Doors & Windows (YDW) were only too happy to help a customer who had been told that it was impossible for him to have a composite stable door on his home due to its small size.

The standard size of a door is 2100mm (h) x 900mm (w), however the one that required replacement on this barn conversion in Sheffield was 1820mm (h) x 1020mm (w), so not just shorter but wider than normal too. The team at YDW subsequently manufactured and installed a Flint 2 composite ‘open in’ stable door, with a walnut exterior and cream frame and interior, that fitted perfectly!

The client was so impressed he proceeded to order a further 6 composite doors, all of which had bespoke sizes including 2 more stable doors – one of which was just 1740mm (h) x 940mm (w).

In addition YDW’s sister company Lockwood Windows has now been commissioned to replace all the windows on the property too.
