Composite doors are made up from a variety of materials, but usually consist of a uPVC steel reinforced frame with a solid timber hardwood core, topped with a GRP laminate skin. GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) is a versatile and well proven construction material. It does not warp, shrink or rust and is virtually maintenance free. GRP also has a better strength to weight ratio than steel, and is a natural insulating material. The end result is a door that is strong and secure.
